Kathlene Tellgren, RN, BS, HN-BC, NC-BC

Kathlene’s early experiences of the natural world kindled curiosity in the interconnectedness of all life and a call to service lead to a decades-long career in nursing. The holistic nursing practice of integrative healthcare was a beneficial career decision that has influenced her facilitation of cancer retreats and nurse renewal programs.

She has been a part of Harmony Hill since 2002 supporting its work and contributing to its mission. Her intention of providing a safe place for people to come home to themselves, access their own inner resources, and find healing is her passion and inspiration for the work.

She shares life with her spouse, Bill, and Max, the cat, in the eclectic seaside community of Port Townsend, Washington.  She experiences gardening as a living metaphor and revels in “hands in earth” therapy. Being near water and in nature is nourishment for her soul as is a regular practice of yoga and meditation. She has a supportive community of family and friends and delights in spending time with her grandchildren.
