Erica Rayner-Horn M.A., L.M.H.C.

Erica is a psychotherapist and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction instructor specializing in mindfulness in her work as a therapist, presenter, facilitator and writer. She teaches mindfulness, meditation, self-compassion and stress management internationally. Bringing her personal experience as a cancer survivor to her professional work she is passionate about teaching mindfulness as an effective way to live well and thrive with illness. She is on the faculty of Harmony Hill where she loves facilitating cancer retreats on this beautiful property. Erica also founded a mindfulness-based retreat, Awake and Alive: Mindful Living with Cancer, which she offers annually.

Weaving Western psychology and neuroscience with Eastern contemplative traditions, Erica has developed an effective approach that helps relieve stress, reduce anxiety and depression, and strengthen resilience for facing such life-changing challenges as serious illness, trauma and loss. Drawing on more than 35 years of meditation experience with many of the foremost meditation teachers of our time Erica is skilled at guiding both beginners and experienced meditators. She is the author of a best-selling CD, available on Amazon Finding Tranquility Guided Mindfulness Meditations for Stressful Times CD, and an upcoming book and online course on mindfulness.
