Linda Covert, RN
Linda was called to nursing at an early age and has loved it for over 50 years. She has always been drawn to the care of children and families which is where her hospital practice has resided. She continues her work to support the care of families and staff at a Children’s hospital.
She is the grandmother to nine beautiful children who light up her life and keep her grounded in the reality of life!
She was called to Harmony Hill through a relationship with Gretchen Schodde, and met first with a group of dedicated nurses, then as a housemother, and for the last 15 years as a facilitator of cancer retreats and nurse renewal retreats. Linda is also a breast cancer survivor.
Her dedication to Harmony Hill supports her mission in life. Her desire to make a difference in people’s lives through compassionate listening, gentle guidance, and supportive care is a key to Linda’s work. She relishes in the transformation she is privileged to witness with every retreat.
Hi Linda,
I saw on the calendar that Patti is doing the healing circle for caregivers on Zoom. I did not know if you are still participating in that, but I did not see Patti’s email on the website. The reason I’m reaching out is to get some more information about starting a healing circle for the RN’s on my unit. If you could guide me in the right direction I would be so grateful. I hope you and your family is well.
Thank you,
